Canoe Trip 2021

In August 2021, the Cadotte Lake Metis youth went on a Canoe trip on the Peace River under the guides and teachings of Marvin Lizotte. Departing at the Dunvegan Bridge completing their journey at the Shatsburry Ferry, travelling a total of 78 km. They camped along the river on the way taking them 3 days. Food was provided by chef Ron, cooking healthy and high protein meals for the hard work of canoeing! The rule was that whoever was last to set up or take down their tent had to do the dishes. It was a great adventure for the youth and an experience they will never forget.
