Summer 2022 Net Fishing with Ramzey Zallum

Last summer in 2022 the Cadotte Lake Metis youth were taught net fishing under the guide and teachings of Ramzey Zallum in Joussard, AB. Ramzey showed the group his fishing spot, from there he demonstrated how to tie on the anchors and set the net. The next day they went back out to retrieve the net and carefully remove the fish. Once back at camp Ramzey demonstrated how to fillet a fish, giving the youth an opportunity to try for themselves!
